In early 1999  I started to read about ‘Shame’. Initially this interest was generated by a series of visits to different parts of the world over the period from 1994 to 1998 when, even if for only very short periods, I was part of small local communities in Africa, South America and Asia. This reading resulted in my MA Dissertation at St. John’s College Nottingham.

The title of the Dissertation is: “Do the Gospel and the Cross Address Shame”.
